Support Team CASA’s walkers and runners as they raise funds to improve the lives of children who have been neglected and abused.
More than 130 Team CASA walkers and runners will soon be spreading the word throughout our community, contacting friends, family and colleagues to help raise funds for Court Appointed Special Advocates in the annual Big Sur Marathon.
Be our partner in this wonderful high-profile event, one of CASA’s two main annual fundraisers. More than 70% of our annual $600,000 budget must be raised from individuals and businesses. We use these resources to train and supervise volunteer CASA Advocates who last year alone served more than 190 children in our community. Please join our work, bringing hope and a bright future to children removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect.

Diamond Sponsor: $5,000
In addition to supporting the marathon, your Diamond Sponsorship helps provide comprehensive annual support and resources for two of our CASA children in foster care. Each child is matched with a professionally trained and supervised volunteer CASA Advocate who spends time with his/her child weekly for up to two years. The Advocate offers support, guidance and friendship while behind the scenes, speaks up for the child’s best interests with judges and health and education professionals. This advocacy directly affects the well-being and future of the child. Your gift also helps provide individualized resources such as tutoring, backpacks, a first bike, summer camp, and preparation for college…things that can help link a CASA child to a life of promise and hope.
