April is Child Abuse Prevention Month

Child Abuse Prevention Month is a great time to get involved and make a difference.You can help make great childhoods happen by becoming a Court Appointed Special Advocate, making a donation or visiting our CASA store and helping spread the word about CASA.

Pinwheels for Prevention

The pinwheel has come to serve as the national symbol of the great childhoods we want for all children and serve as a visual reminder that we all play a role in child abuse prevention. This year CASA has planted 100 pinwheels to represent the 100 NEW volunteers we hope to recruit and train this year. Although the greatest need is for bilingual volunteers, we always encourage people of all cultures, professions and of all ethnic and educational backgrounds to learn more.

You CAN make a difference for a child in Santa Cruz County who has been abused or neglected.
