When a child experiences a traumatic incident, their entire developmental progression and relational framework can be impacted. The signs of trauma in young children can often be overlooked, mis-labeled, and at times, dismissed. This presentation will shed some light on the symptoms of traumatic stress in children birth through 6 years old. By using case examples from her practice, Dr. Eagle will help attendees to gain a more informed view of child trauma, as well as provide helpful resources for those who work first-hand with traumatized youth.
