All across Santa Cruz County, there are children and youth who need your help.
Attending an info session can be the first step. Our hour-long, no commitment information sessions are your chance to learn more and find out if this is the right volunteer opportunity for you.
PLEASE NOTE: You must be at least 21 years old to become a CASA Advocate.
**Information meetings, pre-training interviews, and Advocate trainings are being done hybrid, some online and some in-person**
The next 35 hour CASA Spring Training (10 sessions of 3 hours) will start on Saturday, April 18th thru May 19th, 2026
Below are the training days. All training except the first Saturday will be in the evening from 5:30pm-8:30pm.
Session 1 & 2: Saturday, April 18th 9am-4pm at CASA House, 813 Freedom Blvd., Watsonville, CA
Session 3: Tuesday, April 21st, via Zoom
Session 4: Thursday, April 23rd in person COE (399 Encinal St, Santa Cruz, CA)
Session 5: Tuesday, April 28th, via Zoom
Session 6: Thursday, April 30th in person COE (399 Encinal St, Santa Cruz, CA)
Session 7: Tuesday, May 5th, via Zoom
Session 8: Thursday, May7th, in person at the COE (399 Encinal St, Santa Cruz, CA)
Session 9: Tuesday, May 12th, via Zoom
Session 10: Thursday, May 14th in person at the CASA House, 813 Freedom Blvd., Watsonville CA 95076
Court Observation and Graduation: May 19th, 8am-12pm at the Watsonville Courthouse, 1 Second St, Watsonville, CA 95076
*If the in-person training dates don't work on your schedule, we do have the option to do the training online through CASA University. Please attend an information session and learn more about how you can join our online training or in-person training.
