Advocates are required to complete 12 hours of continuing education each year.
Participating in ongoing training will maintain and improve the level of the CASA volunteer’s knowledge and skills about issues that may be relevant to their case.
To get credit for continuing education, report it to your supervisor or enter it in Optima as a Training Log.
Reading a book should be recorded as 3 hours of continuing education.
