Online & Virtual Training
Participating in ongoing training will maintain and improve the level of the CASA volunteer’s knowledge and skills about issues that may be relevant to their case.
Advocates are required to complete 12 hours of continuing education each year, which must include completion of the Mandated Reporter Training and 3-hours of continuing education from our Race & Equity selection. To get credit for continuing education, report it to your supervisor or enter it in Optima as a Training Log. Online and Virtual Trainings will have a note indicating time to record on your log.

We will create a safe and comfortable space for small groups of advocates to express their strengths and needs in a manner that is encouraging and restorative. Advocate Supervisors facilitate these meetings on a topic of interest.
