CSEC Training
On average, over 2300 children have been sexually exploited over the last six years and this number continues to escalate (HTH, 2018). Approximately 80% of these children were in direct contact with the Department of Family Children Services (NCMEC, 2018). It is through the education of Advocates and service providers, that CASA aims to be apart of the solution to end CSEC (Commercially and Sexually Exploited Children) through awareness. Please join CASA of Santa Cruz County and CSEC expert Deborah Pembrook and hear what Advocates should know and what things to look for in order to help keep our children and youth safe.
